01 Who we are

Merge Music ("the app", "we", "us") is an Android application that lets you combine your downloaded music into custom mixes. This policy describes what data the app handles and why.

02 What we access on your device

• Your music library. With your permission, the app reads the audio files and their tags (title, artist, album, artwork) stored on your device. This is required to show your songs and build mixes. This data is processed on your phone and is never sent to us.
• Your mixes and settings. The mixes you create and your preferences are saved locally on your device.

03 Optional account

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile information — your name, email address, and profile photo — solely to identify your account. Signing in is optional; the app's core mixing and playback features work without an account.

Account sign-in is handled securely by Google. We never see or store your Google password.

04 Payments

If you purchase a Premium upgrade, payment is handled securely by Google Play through your Google account. Merge Music never collects, sees, or stores your payment details — the transaction happens entirely within Google Play's billing system.

05 What we don't do

• We do not sell your data to anyone.
• We do not show third-party advertising.
• We do not track your location.
• We do not upload your music files.

06 Your choices

• You can revoke the app's music-access permission at any time in your phone's Settings.
• You can delete your mixes from within the app.
• If you signed in, you can sign out at any time, and you may request deletion of your account data by contacting us below.

07 Children

Merge Music is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

08 Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected in an app update.
