Merge Music

Privacy Policy

Merge Music blends the music already on your phone. Almost nothing leaves your device — and this page explains exactly what that means.

Your music never leaves your phone

Merge Music reads the audio files stored on your device to build your mixes. Those files, and your listening, stay entirely on your phone. We don't upload, copy, or stream them anywhere.

01 Who we are

Merge Music ("the app", "we", "us") is an Android application that lets you combine your downloaded music into custom mixes. This policy describes what data the app handles and why.

02 What we access on your device

03 Optional account

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile information — your name, email address, and profile photo — solely to identify your account. Signing in is optional; the app's core mixing and playback features work without an account.

Account sign-in is handled securely by Google. We never see or store your Google password.

04 Payments

If you purchase a Premium upgrade, payment is handled securely by Google Play through your Google account. Merge Music never collects, sees, or stores your payment details — the transaction happens entirely within Google Play's billing system.

05 What we don't do

06 Your choices

07 Children

Merge Music is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

08 Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected in an app update.
